Bechtel Sawmilling & Timber
We are delighted to announce the expansion of its business and its new permanent location at Balloch Sawmill near Crieff. We now offer a comprehensive timber service specialising in Scottish grown hardwood and quality softwoods.
Bechtel Sawmilling & Timber supply:
- Green, rough sawn, air-dried and kiln-dried timber;
- Bespoke and contract cutting service;
- Natural edge (waney), square edge, tongue and grooved boards;
- Kiln dried hardwood and softwood;
- Structural and decorative Oak beams (graded to BS5756-1997 if required). Douglas Fir and Larch boards, beams, and battens. Untreated Oak and Larch fencing material;
- Big chunky lumps of wood for lintels, mantle pieces, sleepers, etc;
- Hardwood and Softwood flooring to order;
- Contract Oak strength grading.
All of our timber is sourced from Scotland and, where possible, Perthshire and the surrounding area.
Of course not everything we can produce is listed above, and we would be pleased to speak to you to discuss any specific requirements you may have. Visitors to the mill are welcome, but please call first to confirm that we will be there on the day. |
