Out of Wood, Dunblane, Scotland: Bespoke
Kitchens, Worktops, Furniture, Doors and Windows and Other Bespoke
Joinery - Sawn Hardwood and Durable Softwood, Hardwood Flooring,
Cladding and Mouldings
Bespoke Kitchens. Out of Wood make
bespoke kitchens and kitchen worktops from native Scottish hardwood.
They will design a kitchen for or build a kitchen to your
specification. Each kitchen is carefully crafted and made to last in
your choice of wood - oak, elm, sycamore, beech, and others. Their
kitchen worktops are made to measure from solid hardwood planks,
enabling you to see and appreciate the natural beauty of Scottish
hardwoods.
Their bespoke service includes hardwood bookcases,
tables and other articles of furniture in species such as oak, elm,
sycamore beech and ash as well as others including cherry or sweet
chestnut.
Hardwood Flooring. Out of Wood also
manufacture, supply and fit Scottish wood flooring in oak, elm, ash,
sycamore and beech. Their flooring is made to order from their own
stock of planking cut from logs grown in Perthshire and central
Scotland. It has the beauty, character and natural markings associated
with homegrown hardwood. The floorboards are
21mm thick, with an average length of 1.8 metres and typical widths of either 150mm or 75mm - they are able to do other sizes.

Manufacturing Joinery. Out of Wood
run both a sawmill and a manufacturing joinery shop. They have a
six-sided moulder and produce - in addition to the flooring - skirting,
architraves and panelling for interior joinery, which is available in
most native hardwoods. Note that lead times for all their joinery
products will vary depending on the mills stock of available kiln dried
material.
The company also make oak, Douglas fir and European larch exterior cladding in a range of profiles.
Sawn Hardwood. Out of Wood cut and
kiln dry their own timber, from logs sourced locally. They have stocks
of hardwood planking for direct sale but will also cut and kiln timber
to order. Planks are available in 30mm and 60mm thicknesses; they have
one waney edge and are as wide as possible.
The company is based in central Scotland, near Dunblane, and owned by Bernd Pinamonti.
